Buy a commercial licence
We sell to businesses and public bodies only, on a signed order form. Prepare your order in three minutes, no meeting: we send you the pre-filled order form, you sign it, the invoice follows.
1. Your order
Write to sales@awacloud.com with: the offer (AWA Markdown, AWA Office, AWA PDF or AWA Convert), your application's trade name, the term (1, 2 or 3 years), whether another application is already licensed for the same offer, whether you are a public buyer or a French non-profit association (loi 1901), your company (legal name, company or VAT number, address, signatory) and a technical contact. We send you the pre-filled order form.
2. What happens next
- You receive the pre-filled order form and, as PDFs, the documents it refers to: the general terms of sale, the general licence terms, the offer's specific conditions and their annexes. These are the only documents that bind us; their French version prevails, and an English courtesy translation is provided. You sign the order form (e-signature or signed PDF).
- We issue the invoice (prices excl. VAT), payable by bank transfer within 30 days of the invoice date, with no discount for early payment. Public purchase order or e-invoicing portal: tell us, we use your portal, as set out in our general terms of sale.
- Once we have received the signed order form, you receive a licence statement summarising your application, the offer and the term; it has no contractual value. No key to enter, no activation: our libraries never call home.
Before you buy
- Evaluate freely. Our office libraries are under AGPL-3.0-only: you can develop and test without a commercial licence. You need one when you ship a proprietary application to your users.
- Term. Licences renew tacitly for firm 12-month periods; notice by registered letter at least three months before expiry; at renewal, the price is revised by the Syntec index, unless fixed.
- If you do not renew, you keep the versions received, with no time limit, within the terms of the licence; you lose updates and support.
- The first ten signed order forms keep their price for three years, with no multi-year commitment.
- Outside the European Union, an export-control review takes place before delivery.
