AWA ConvertThe law requires accessible PDFs and eIDAS-recognised signatures, not that you hand them to a third party. AWA PDF produces your PDFs, checks their accessibility (PDF/UA-1), signs (PAdES) and encrypts them, in the browser, with no file upload; conformity of your documents remains yours. (PAdES: the European standard for signing PDF documents, recognised under eIDAS.)

- Simple to run. A library, not an infrastructure: no conversion server to deploy or maintain. One licence per application, with unlimited users and servers.
- Confidential by design. Your documents are processed on your own machines: our libraries send nothing, to us or to anyone. Your sensitive data stays within your perimeter.
- Simpler audits, CRA-ready. No third-party runtime dependency: your software supply-chain audit fits in a single public repository. Every release ships with its SBOM, the software inventory the CRA requires from December 2027.
- Everything is verifiable. Our code is public, in full, on awaforge.eu, and auditable line by line. We do not ask you to take our word for it: every claim we make can be checked in the code.
- A free foundation. The AWA framework and its tools are free, under the Apache-2.0 licence: you build at no cost and pay only for the office libraries used in a proprietary application.

AwaCloud is a French software publisher, founded in 2016. We first designed and built a secure pocket server, then published an end-to-end encrypted suite (calls, video, messaging, file transfer). For us, confidentiality is not a marketing argument: it is in our DNA.
In 2026, we are publishing part of our software libraries, the outcome of ten years of development, now open and auditable line by line.
