Our office libraries are published under the open-source AGPL-3.0-only licence and under a commercial licence for proprietary integration with no code publication; our foundation and its tooling are free under Apache-2.0.
Buy a licenceIf you do not renew, you keep what you received
At expiry, if you do not renew, you keep running your application with the versions received during the subscribed term, with no time limit, within the terms of the licence. You lose updates and support: there is no licence key, no network call, no kill switch. If you sell your application, its licence goes with it, on written notice to us.
- What a licence covers. An offer covers its libraries and the ones they use internally. If your code imports a library directly, you need the offer that contains it. Example: if your code calls
@awacloud/pdfitself to encrypt or sign, you need AWA PDF — or AWA Convert, which contains all our libraries. - What is an application? A product or a service that you sell or run under its own trade name. Each application that uses our libraries counts as one licence, whether it calls them directly or through a shared layer common to other applications. From the second application on, the price decreases (see Discounts).
- The foundation, free.
@awacloud/fw, under Apache-2.0: a standalone framework for websites and web applications, with no mandatory bundler and no opaque dependency tree. It brings together 202 autonomous modules, loaded on demand, and a security layer that locks the environment down before any other code runs. Your audit stops at the framework itself. awaforge.eu
Discounts
- Launch price: for the first ten signed order forms, price fixed for three years, with no multi-year commitment: the licence stays annual and you can give notice three months before each anniversary. A price freeze, not a discount.
- Commitment: −10% over 2 years, −15% over 3 years, price fixed for the whole term.
- Public buyers and French non-profit associations (loi 1901): −25%.

All prices excl. VAT, in euros. Licences renew tacitly for firm 12-month periods; notice by registered letter at least three months before expiry; at renewal, the price is revised by the Syntec index, unless fixed. Included support: correction of reproducible defects in the libraries, by our team; integration assistance is not included. No "Powered by AWA" badge is required in your interfaces; the licence and author notices in the files stay in place. The order form, the general terms of sale and the general licence terms are given to you before signature: they are the only documents that bind us; their French version prevails.
