The end-to-end encrypted suite
Since 2016, AwaCloud has published a suite of tools where encryption is the starting point, not an option: Call, Visio, Chat, Locker (file vault), Encrypt (document encryption). Your data is encrypted on your device before anything is sent; we cannot read it — by construction, not by policy.
Why a new generation
The first generation of the suite was proprietary, closed-source software, built on more than ten years of work. It kept its privacy promise; it did not let our customers verify what it contained.
The new generation changes that. Rebuilt on AWA, it is open and auditable: anyone can establish what runs, line by line — exactly what new European regulation (CRA, NIS2, DORA) now asks software to prove.
- Modern — a fully rewritten codebase with zero external dependency.
- Auditable end to end — not a single unreviewed third-party component between your document and its encryption.
- Built-in office — read, write, sign (PAdES) and encrypt documents in the browser: the document never leaves your device.
- Post-quantum cryptography — the new standards (ML-KEM, hybrid schemes) tested against the official NIST vectors, with no certification.
- Installable on your premises — a version deployable in isolated environments, with no internet connection.
